With a career spanning decades, Coach Cossitt has coached players of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to collegiate athletes. He has notably coached USTA National Teams and produced numerous Wyoming State Champions.

His accolades include being named the 2021 Intermountain Coach of the Year and one of Tennis Channel's Top 10 Coaches in America in 2021. Additionally, he was recognized with the 2022 Diversity and Inclusion Award for his commitment to making tennis accessible to all.

Brendan Lock

Brendan Lock is a tennis standout with a stellar record both on and off the court. As a three-time Wyoming #1 Singles Champion and four-time All-State #1 Singles player, Brendan's skill and dedication are undeniable.

During his tenure as team captain at Western New Mexico University, Brendan showcased his leadership and talent. He recently completed his senior year of varsity tennis, all while maintaining his status as a member of the ITA All Academic Team.

Brendan's sportsmanship and competitive drive have earned him recognition, including two-time membership on the Lone Star Conference Sportsmanship Team. Additionally, he consistently ranks among the Intermountain Men's Open Singles Top 5.

Now, as a coach, Brendan brings his wealth of experience and passion for the game to mentor aspiring athletes. Hailey Mathis-Breitkopf

Hailey Mathis-Breitkopf is a tennis instructor with a remarkable record of success both on and off the court. As a three-time All-State winner and three timeWyoming state champion, Hailey's talent and dedication to the sport are evident.

One of Hailey's most impressive feats is her undefeated high school career, where she has never lost a match. Her consistent excellence and unwavering determination make her a standout in the tennis community.

Rio Barr

Rio Barr is an exceptional young tennis player and dedicated instructor. Currently playing as the #1 singles player for South High School, she has demonstrated impressive skill and commitment to the sport. Rio is the Wyoming Governor's Cup Mixed Doubles Champion and is ranked #1 in Wyoming for both singles and doubles in her age division. Her talent has also taken her to the national stage, where she represented Team Wyoming at the Impact Team Tennis National Championships in Orlando, Florida. As a 12 and under tennis instructor, Rio brings her passion for the game and competitive experience to her students, helping them develop their skills and love for tennis. Nicholas Thornell

Coach Nicholas Thornell is a standout athlete and dedicated mentor with a passion for developing young tennis players. A Wyoming All-State Tennis Player in 2023 and 2024, Nicholas was part of the 2024 Team State Championship and claimed the #3 Doubles State Champion title in 2023 with an undefeated season.

Off the court, Nicholas excels academically with a 4.1 GPA as an AP Scholar and has volunteered with the children’s program at Element Church for over five years. His leadership, sportsmanship, and commitment to excellence make him an invaluable part of our coaching team.
